    •    Return after the match
    •    £20 return (all categories)
Tickets are available in advance only and will be posted out. There is strictly no cash on the buses.

Monday 9th July. 7:00pm kick off. Portmarnock AFC. Paddy’s Hill

As there is no licenced bar at Paddy’s Field where Portmarnock AFC play, it’s suggested that fans head to Malahide rather than Portmarnock before the game if they fancy a drink and something to eat.

The following information has been kindly provided to us by Portmarnock AFC.

If I was looking to come from city centre to our pitch by public transport, I would get train from Pearse St, Tara St or Connelly Station – northbound to Malahide  (not Howth). The journey takes about 35 minutes.
Malahide village is a real tourist village 1.5 miles from our pitch accessible by bus (Dublin bus route 102 or 42, less than 5 mins by bus and 10 mins walk to pitch).
If you’re taking the number 42 bus get off at Redfern Avenue (click here for a Google Maps route), if you’re on the 102 bus get off at Martello Estate (click here for a Google Maps route).
Malahide has a 4 star hotel, Grand Hotel Malahide, several pubs serving food, including Duffys, Fowlers and Gibneys and up to 20-30 restaurants serving food. Portmarnock is a beautiful part of the world boasting an amazing beach called the velvet strand, we have two hotels, the up-market Golf Links Hotel and 3 star White Sands hotel, 10 mins walk from the ground. We boast 3 of the best golf courses in the country, Old Portmarnock, Portmarnock Golf Links (attached to the hotel) and Malahide Golf Club all extremely close to the pitch.
Dublin airport is 5 miles from Portmarnock accessible by bus route 102 from airport.

Tuesday 10th July. 7:45pm kick off. Longford Town FC. City Calling Stadium (Strokestown Road)

If you wish to use the club coaches, you must be booked beforehand. Details of the coaches are on the club’s website HERE.

Founded in 1924, Longford Town were elected to the League of Ireland in 1984 and play in the League of Ireland First Division. The City Calling Stadium was redeveloped in 2001 and now has a capacity of 6,850. Longford is the county town of County Longford with a population of around 10,000.

The following information has been kindly provided to us by Longford Town FC.

Iarnrod Eireann/Irish Rail and Bus Eireann provide regular train and bus services to Longford but do not serve our ground, See www.irishrail.ie  and www.buseireann.ie

Unfortunately the last train for Dublin leaves at 7.30 pm and the last bus at 8.05 pm so an overnight stay is required in Longford or nearby. We recommend the Longford Arms Hotel, www.longfordarms.ie . A taxi from Longford to the ground is about €12 for 4 passengers.

Our clubhouse is situated under the main stand and serves hot drinks and snacks and is open an hour before kick-off. We don’t have an alcohol licence and alcohol is not permitted in any part of the ground so sorry on that one! There are plenty of good pubs in Longford. Our supporters club often meet up with visiting fans for a few friendly drinks together before matches. (Yes, even with our rivals!).

Ticket Prices:  Adults €15.00, Student: €10.00 (must produce current student I.D. card), OAPs: €10.00, Under 16s: €5.00.

We’ve had a crazy golf tournament on the last two pre-season tours, but due to a lack of a free day between games, we’ll be planning a crazy golf tournament back in Oxford in the future – keep an eye out for the details.

See you in Dublin!
